This is a direct-acting, spool-type, electro-proportional reducing/relieving valve with improved dynamic response. The valve reduces high primary pressure at the inlet to a constant reduced pressure at port 2, while allowing full flow relief from port 2 to the tank at port 1. When operating in reducing mode, the valve allows flow from port 1 to port 3 at a specified pressure setting. By increasing the coil current, the reduced pressure at port 1 can be proportionally increased. If the pressure at port 1 exceeds the coil-induced setting, the valve will relieve the pressure to port 3.

  • US patent US9234605.
  • If you would like to adjust the pressure by your selves, any technical questions, please feel free to consult with Winner sales department.
  • During the transition from pressure-reducing (port 2 to port 1) to pressure-relieving (port 1 to port 3), a slight open overlap ensures stable pressure control. However, this may cause a pilot flow loss of approximately 200 cc/min., particularly during transition under dead-head conditions.
  • When the inlet pressure reaches 210 - 350 bar (3000 - 5000 psi), it is recommended to maintain a minimum reduced pressure of 30 bar (450 psi) at port 1 for optimal control.
  • The maximum valve leakage is approximately 400 cc/min.This leakage is measured at port 3 when port 2 is pressurized to 350 bar (5000 psi) and the pressure setting at port 1 is 30 bar (450 psi).
  • If your operation requires a wide range of settings, such as Y=1000, 1500, 2100 or 3500, and the need to control pressure below 10 bar (150 psi), please contact the Winner sales department.
  • This valve can operate under 1 bar; however, please note that the back pressure at port 3 directly affects the valve setting at a 1:1 ratio.
  • Working parts are heat-treated and high-precision ground to increase hardness for long life.
  • A variety of seal kit materials for different applications, see seals information under Technical Reference.
  • Winner's cartridges pressure rating tested to the standard of the NFPA specification T2.6.1 and the fatigue rating's assurance and verification level is "90/90".
  • WINNERcoat® Zinc-Nickel Plating is salt spray tested in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9227 for up to 1000 hours.
  • Winner guarantees that all products performance a 100% functional test before shipment.
