This is an unbalanced poppet logic element valve with a position switch, spring-biased to remain closed. The opening and closing of the poppet are dependent on the force balances on the areas of the poppet at port 1, port 2 and port 3. The valve will open when pressure applied at either port 1 or port 2 overcomes the spring force, while pressure at port 3 tends to keep the valve closed. The valve remains closed only when the combined force (force generated at port 3 plus spring force) exceeds the forces at port 1 and port 2. The valve features a position switch to confirm opening and closure.
-
Area ratio of A3 to A1 is 1.8:1.
-
Area ratio of A3 to A1 is 2.25:1.
- All ports can withstand up to 350 bar (5000 psi).
-
With reverse polarity protection and short circuit protection.
-
The opening and closing of the valve are confirmed by a signal from the position switch.
-
The maximum leakage is approximately 0.07 cc/min at 70 bar and 30 cc/min at 70 bar during the transition.
